Discussion about
A number of you have indicated that you spend your vacations in Europe. Have you ever done a housing swap (e.g., www.homeexchange.com) instead of staying in a hotel? If so, how have your experiences been? I am thinking of doing a swap this year (to be economical), and luckily lots of people all over are interested in staying in Manhattan. I am mostly afraid of: (1) picking up bed bugs (a paranoia of mine) - is this more or less likely to happen in an apartment than in a hotel? (2) damage to my apartment (3) theft of personal information

Bump and grind, (grind is a sailing reference, to trim the sheets, hoist the main) .... the fact it conjures up the Dirty Dancing scene was not the intended effect ; )

1) you could just pre-bed bug your house ... that way, you'll know at least, it's your bug :)

Sorry can't be more help, but I'd also like to know. The first thing wife and I'll do as soon as my daughter gets off her white diet.... very very very picky eater... we've had this discussion and my wife thinkz she'll be okay w/ chocolate croissants, me, not so sure....
