I didn't think Krugman was ever anything but bearish.

His work seems so uneven in quality to me these days. Sometimes I just roll my eyes, but then the next day he'll come out with an insightful, academic analysis of an issue that really impresses.

I'm not commenting on what was said just Paul's inability to deliver consistant directional analysis.

For the record, I can't wait to be a bull, food tastes better, air is sweeter, my cloths fit better. The problem is my home and ofice have windows and I can see out. That, taken with the fact that my combined SAT score (SE intellegrnce measure) is greater than 800, forces me to camp with the bears.
