Some people get a kick out of flaming people who post their properties for sale here. Other owners have reacted defensively to less-than-positive feedback, which often makes posters entrench in their opinions.

Also, streeteasy will not necessarily pull a thread just because the owner thinks it is overly critical, so that approach isn't for the thin-skinned. It worked for Sniper because he was not defensive and was very reasonable about the feedback he received.
