Yes, because if you write it on an anonymous blog, it must be true.

Of course, when its contradicted by your SCREEN NAME... all bets are off.

ROTFL.

Yea, sure.

1. You're always rushing to Alpine (Bergen County's) defense.
2. Your screen name is Alpine292.

Why do people from New Jersey always say they live in New York?

I can put whatever the hell I want to in my screen name. At least I am original and I don't copy everyone else by making my screen name "nyc[zip code]." And if your going to go after my NJ themed screen name, then why have you never doen the same to Columbia County? Maybe he does not live in Manhattan. Maybe he is jsut some loser upstate in COLUMBIA COUNTY who cannot afford Manhattan.

I assume that's rhetorical.

Know why New York hates New Jersey? Because its like the rest of America, only closer.

Don't you own a place in NJ that you can't sell?

alpine, there is a difference between you and ColumbiaCountry. It is guaranteed that we can see one (or 20) of your defensive posts in every single post pertaining to Bergen County.

I don't understand why you're so embarrassed to admit where you really live.

Yes, his house.

He might be able to claim he doesn't live in Jersey because he's living on someone's couch in DC while he tries to get a job there.

In the end, guy can't afford Manhattan, and the bitterness shows.

I live in Manhattan you fool. When I first joined this forum last year, I lived in NJ. And I admitted it. But I eventually moved back to Manhattan. Why are you people so thick headed?

BTW, this also reminds me of r*fus (don't want him searching his own name)... who was adamant about living "on Upper West Side".

what are you talking about? Rufus admitted to living in Chicago. He even bragged about going condo shopping in Chicago.

Alpine, you might want to start over with a name such as HK-something. Just cut the cord with Alpine, or rather, Cliffside Park. Or have one account for NNJ and one for here.

Oh? Care to comment on your claim that you rented in New Jersey during the boom years, when you were supposedly living in Hell's Kitchen and/or Coop City?

He already said he left Co-op village 17 years ago... meaning he could only "afford" manhattan when subsidized. I believe the prices were about $2k-$5k when he bought.

They were glorified rentals at the time.

Uncle Alpie,
We know you don't live in NJ.
Don't be goated so easily, stick to your stuff...even if it's not popular.
Didn't I see you at Calahans eating a giant hot dog?

Alpine, have an iota of dignity and at least claim to live in West New York, New Jersey. That way you could claim to live in New York and be only sort of a total liar. Dignity -- try it.

10022, I stand corrected on the Coop City portion of my comment. However, I don't think departing 17 years ago gives him up-to-date info on the board or on the residents, which was what he was claiming to know about in that thread.

Don't really know the back story on this but it's kinda funny

If i lived in Alpine, I wouldn't be too ashamed since a lot of the houses there are $10M+

I think we all just wish he'd admit it.

Who knew there's an Alpine NJ? Oh, the dangers of being a transplant in the city. If I hadn't been convinced of his NJ residency already, CJ, this would have done it.

I never said I left the LES 17 years ago. I said I owned there for 13 years. That is all the information you need buster.

Now stop speculating as to where I live. You guys are all clowns.

I moved to Hell's Kitchen about 10 months ago. Before that, I lived in NJ. How many times do I have to say this???

I know, riiiiggggghhhhht? This board is supposed to be about NYC real estate, not about New Jersey.

I guess he's just referring to http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/11818-are-street-easy-posters-retarded-idiots-or-both or something.
