on floors in the 20s the same apartments have recently rented for 2400 + one month free and another for 2200. this woman is sucking the glass dick.

I suppose this owner is justifying the fact that this is furnished. But still, small and DUMBO is nice, but... You could rent in a good condo full 1 bedroom in prime Chelsea, nicely furnished, etc. for about this rate. Or probably $3000-$3200 net effective in Chelsea or other prime Manhattan (including TriBeCa), good size 1BR, unfurnished in a rental building.
Another rainy June day today won't help justify price for views if they do an open house!
