Discussion about
Does anybody have knowledge/info on outdoor closets? I've been trying to invent something that's most likely been invented. Thanks to all in advance.

Or a bag of clothes that you leave in front of Goodwill before they open?

PS -- throw all your old shit away instead of storing it.

I wouldn't want to leave my clothes in an outside closet unless I lived in a dry place. Like the desert. I can't imagine there being a huge market for something like this.

jason10006, winter clothes. Regular vertical storage has no coat rod and no way to install it.

I know what you mean. I mean an upright storage shed from home depot. i used to have a 900 sq ft terrace when I lied in Fidi, and would often think about buying an 8 foot high storage shed, you know like people use for gardening tools in hteir backyard, for the deck. One with a door and such. The HDs in Manhattan dont sell them but maybe in Brooklyn or NJ. They come in various sizes, and you coudl propably rig it somehow.

Doesn't RubberMaid make a storage chest for a deck, for instance, for pillows & other smallish outdoor paraphernalia? There used to be a business called 'The Container Store', I think; are they still around?

it would not be an "invention" but if you think there is a market for it, you could produce a product that you make original in your own right. for example, you can make and sell beds without "inventing" beds. if you think there is a market for it (which i think there will be more markets for outdoor things) than go for it! i wish i could meet you in person because i want a business partner for some of my outdoor item ideas....

All weatherproof storages on the market are horizontal. Nothing for hanging up a coat etc.

"All weatherproof storages on the market are horizontal."

Total and complete lie. I have seen with my own eyes such things at many home depots. Here are 165 for you to peruse:

http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Navigation?storeId=10051&N=10000003+90401+502219&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&Ntk=AllProps&cm_sp=Navigation-_-GlobalHeader-_-TopNav-_-Storage-_-Sheds_Outdoor_Storage

I said 165.

This one, for example, would easily fit one any terrace 100SF or bigger...especially on my former 900 SF terrace:

jason10006, before you call someone a liar...
Just explaining: I am looking for outdoor ARMOIRE, ok? Not a tool shed and not anything you point to. Relax, nobody is defaming your dear HomeDepot, god forbid.
