UES Cheap Rental

A small one bedroom or a large studio probably no larger than 600 square feet. Doorman possible but the compromise is the size.

Size is not such a big deal for me. 550 to 600 sq would be fine. I'm single professional in my late 20s. I would love an elevator and/or doorman building, even if it means I could only afford a nice studio. I just want to live like a lower middle class manhattanite at least. Currently I rent a one bedroom around 82nd st and Lexing., a 4th floor walk up (around 550 sq feet) and I feel like I live in the projects. Looking to trade up with current market conditions, as are many others I guess.

1700 york avenue...i think it's 89th street, doorman bldg. studio $1900 with free month. they just rented the same studio for $1700 so you could probably negotiate.
