What is average and range of maintenance for a classic 8 room apartment in the upepr east side? trying to determine low and high range. thanks

Here're a couple tacks to take.

Check www.cnyc.com to see whether they still do their annual comparative-cost study. You could buy a copy and parse figures from there. (They used to report on a per-room basis.)

Do an advanced search here and pick up the results in a spreadsheet. That'll give you rooms, maintenance, etc., and you can exclude the 4+-bedroom listings that don't fit your Classic 8 definition.

Note that either method gives you a restricted sample: the CNYC to responding buildings and the SE to apartments for sale.
