ATTN: Mortgage Brokers - Is the conforming loan limit in Manhattan now $729,750?

It depends on your personal financial situation. I'm hearing of people who can't seem to get below 6%, and others who are getting as low as 3.8%.

Hi Jake, we just locked on a 5/1 at 4 7/8 paying a point. Figure you'll be in the low 6s for a 30-year fixed paying two or three points.

It's not a legend. I know of this from first-hand knowledge.
