Discrepancy between SE and ACRIS

I noticed a sale showing in SE at $520,000 but the Real Property Transfer Report in ACRIS shows the Full Sale Price being about 10,000 higher than that. However, the search in ACRIS shows the sale price at $520,000. Could anyone explain this discrepancy? Could it have something to do with transfer taxes or some way of inflating the sale price on the part of the seller?

No idea how SE pulls their data, but could it be that the sale price was entered into the MLS incorrectly? That happened to me in another city. Agent entered the wrong sale price into the MLS, and as a result several sources showed the sale price as being $5k higher than it was in ACRIS (or in actuality).

Why not just tell us what property you are talking about?
