I am with you on the time element. I'm always amazed at how slow these things take. I'll often remind myself that all these things are cooking at the same time. They have all been in the oven too long. It's just a matter of time until the burnt offerings arrive.

Guys, a watched-pot never boils. Just adopt my strategy - become so completely consumed with the sustainability of one's own career that the value of manhattan real estate becomes an afterthought.
