Discussion about
There are a lot of things wrong with this place: the rooms look small and boxy in spite of the big sf-age that is claimed. Part of the problem is the chintzy construction, which has used small, ugly windows, also they built it with very low ceilings. However, I note the GI-normous drop in the asking price. My guess is they will have to fall still more, to at least $300/sf to move it. Probably... [more]

Is this for the penthouse on 4th floor? i seen this apartment and its beautiful high ceiling must see. We checked out the 1 br on the 1st floor which is within our range but too small. The 3 br is huge and probably the best value i seen in slope right now just out of our range.
Happy hunting all

I think the conventional wisdom is to be the poor guy on a rich man's block, not the other way around. They were out of their minds listing this at $1.5M. At the peak, it was maybe worth $800K given the nabe and the size (which is not an inch bigger than 1200 sq. ft.) In today's market, maybe it will fetch $650K, not a penny more.

1.5m must have been a typo. I cant believe this price.
As for the poor mans block well you should look at brooklyn as a whole. Price went up anywhere that you can get to the city in 30mins. Even if it is next to the less fortunate.
