Um ... yeah, Riversider, it's about the ratings. Is that a real question? There's HUGE interest in Michael Jackson so they cover the hell out of it. And, yes, they covered the hell out of the drama in his life. There was huge interest in that, too.

Round the clock coverage of a huge pop star's passing is, quite simply, the American Way. One piston in the engine that's made this country great.

That, and MJ was a star on a scale that we'll probably never see again. We're not the only ones covering this so hard, the entire world is. Michael was a phenomenon.

I wonder how the cards fell with respect to Neverland Ranch. He supposedly sold off part of the ownership of the entire property, but I think it was last year, after the crash, so maybe the buyers made out okeh.
