I've owned in manhattan for 13 years. I have no urgent need to buy again. I don't want to owen anyway. The quality of life has diminsihed. The street sare more filthy. Most of my favorite stores are out of business. The taxes are insane.

and it's called Hell's Kitchen, FYI. Clinton is a name that was given to the area by the realtors to make it sound better. Considering that you supposively live in Manhattan, you should know that. Do you also refer to 6th Ave. as the Avenue of Americas?

Well at least Sniper was smart enough to sell his 1 bathroom for over $800,000. Pretty impressive. Sniper, how was living with one bathroom? My realtor friend keeps yelling at me that it can't be done with kids- but I only have 1 infant so I think I could manage. How manageable was it?

it is NO PROBLEM. the infant won't use (baths, toilet, playing) the bathroom for a while so it shouldn't be a big deal. it's not like the kids are keeping me out of the bathroom when i need it. in a few years that will be a different story but with a 2.5 and 4.5 year old it really hasn't cramped our style.

i have no problem chatting about it and answer any questions but i would rather let this ridiculous thread die. alpine should be able to project all the things he hates about himself in privacy.
