Which date is the official "closing date?"

On the NYC Department of Finance - Office of the City Register document (document type: Deed) there are three dates: Document Date, Preparation Date, and Recorded/Filed - which date would a court consider the closing date?

Document Date. That's what's on the actual deed. I don't think a court would use the term "closing date", though.
