But alpine says that there cannot be any foreclosures in Manhattan...

theere gonna be much more of this..how many condo's are gonna default in brooklyn?? I cant imagine BE@schermerhorn is too far behind.

Yup. I have already seen news stories on a couple of smaller buildings.

lol, this guy levy is quite a character "Last month Yair Levy pleaded guilty to the ice bucket assault on his former partner Kent Swig (he got two days of community service—worth it!), and now he's suing Swig over their condo conversion gone awry, the Sheffield57. Levy says Swig "siphoned off" $50 million in construction funds for "personal or unrelated purposes," and then conspired to sell the building out from under him."

i wouldn't mind at all if FIG and AngloIrish suffer big losses from NYC RE, they had been reckless bubble blowers.
