The Lyric. Why any one wants to live in this Noisy building?

I went to see this building. it's right on the subway construction site. Unless you wear earplug everyday there, how can any one wants to live in this building? in addition, the building is crazily overpriced. i heard lots of renters are leaving. Columbus Square, which is three blocks away, have much better view, is quite, got a whole food, and is 20% cheaper!!!

There's an advantage to walking outside your door, being just off Broadway and steps to a new express subway (in less than 2 years). I'm not worried about Related's investment in "The Leer-ic", besides that building is nearly ten years old--they have a fairly low cost. If you like the location, why not try the west facing units, some with quiet river views. While you're at it, ask for some concessions.

Define "permanent".

They've been "upgrading" at 42nd Street for at least the past 15 years ...

everybody's prime time is 30 years. more than 10 years is permanent for you...
