Wow I actually agreed with a broker ''It's the beginnings of the new reality,'' said Pamela Liebman, CEO of The Corcoran Group, ''that 2007 and 2008 were not the norm, but the peak.''

I think 2006-2007 were the peak. 2008 began the decline which will probably continue until 2011.

early - fall 2007 contracts signed were likely the peak for Manhattan
