Didn't sound that way from both her rambling "reasons" as well as her high-pitched, choppy-breathing, tense voice.

I don't think this will have much of an effect on RE anywhere though.

Nobody cares about that idiot.

She is very clever about keeping her name out there but this doesn't seem like a great ploy to position herself for 2012 because now she's a quitter; the opposition can really use that one. I wonder if she may be headed for Fox TV or some such rightwing organization. It will be interesting to see how this plays out but I hope to be able to say, "Good riddance".

There's a story on the blogs that she's about to be indicted for embezzlement:

Word from Alaska is that she's about to be indicted for embezzlement during
her tenure as Mayor of Wasilla:

http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/07/03/rumors-fly-about-palins-iceberg-scand
al/

BradBlog is now reporting additional information received from Alaskans who
follow Palin: “I’ve now been able to get independent information from
multiple sources that all of this precedes what are said to be possible
federal indictments against Palin, concerning an embezzlement scandal
related to the building of Palin’s house and the Wasilla Sports Complex
built during her tenure as Mayor. Both structures, it is said, feature the
’same windows, same wood, same products.’ Federal investigators have been
looking into this for some time, and indictments could be imminent,
according to the Alaska sources.”

You've got to be kidding, it has nothing to do with the weather and has nothing to do with what party. It is just Governors who are corrupt.

That's why a strong, independent judiciary is important here in New York and throughout the country.

Government works best without the politicians and the loudmouths. We are perfectly capable of providing services to people without all the intervention and supervision.

They have some serious problems in Alaska. Same with New York. Glad I'm in the Sunshine State.

The final straw for me was when she played the "victim" card against Letterman. "Boo Boo Bee Boo! He's a child rapist!" Oh pls, bitch...

Sarah Palin showed on Friday that in one respect at least, she is qualified to be president.

I'm no fan of Palin, but Dowd sure is annoying. She writes like a bitchy 13 year old. Can't she just start a facebook page and go away?
