3) Unlike Madoff's crimes, however, there is no singular scape goat to send to prison the rest of his life.
4) The entire reason broke-whores go into there dirty, parasitic little profession is because they DON'T WANT TO WORK LIKE THE REST OF US! They don't want to get up on a schedule, don't want to have someone else tell them what to do, etc. They want to make as much as possible doing as little as possible. Common sense tells us where these roads intersect: misrepresentation and self-dealing.
Any reasons I missed?
There's lot of potholes to fill, bridges in need of repair. The country is going broke on public-works projects designed to reinvigorate the economy after the real estate led (read: realt-whore led) depression. Who is going to pay for all this? That's right: Your tax dollars. That is to say, your tax dollars will be soaked up tomorrow to pay for the commissions the realt-whores absconded with yesterday.
Why not put them to work to do a little something in return? I'd propose we give them three square meals a day and a modest place to sleep in return for compulsory work detail.
Sounds far-fetched? Stranger things have already happened in this economic cycle.

BTW, notice how there were only two replies to this, one trying to incite trouble against ol' Dwayne because he's a broker who doesn't like my POV, and another comparing brokers to a weapon (guns) which causes hundreds of thousands of deaths a year and is therefore BANNED in NYC! But not a single reply defending brokers!
Next post: Skstrokin' will reply with an Alpine-esque "I'm not a broker...although I have noticed that prices have bottomed out so BUY! BUY! BUY! now or be priced out forever..."

I think you're right on the money, dwayne. These haters bring up nonsensical, totally irrelevant issues like race and mental acuity to dismiss your proposal rather than accept it on the terms it was offered. Brokers are scum and the real estate establishment is responsible for most of the economic upheaval that we are going through now. Let's stop scapegoating the Madoffs and Mozillos and throw the right bums in prison or work camps. Maybe we should take a page from the far east's playbook. They know how to deal with crooked rogues like no other societies. And affirmative action is a non-issue, Endemma.

Yelling "buy now or be priced out forever" in a bubble was pretty dangerous, too....
and it killed by far more people than MD in Falling Down (and caused billions of times more in damage).
