Discussion about
If the list of obsessive streeteasy posters is any guide, the prevalence of unemployment and under employment by men in their 30s -- prime career years -- portends lower prices for real estate.

Maybe it is unemployment, maybe these guys don't have wifes, girlfriends, families.

AAHChoooo! God Bless You...

Let's get this straight, an anonymous person named AAhuja reads enough of SE to note that there are "regulars" who post here, enough to note 6 of us, but we are like totally wasting our time... but he who reads it is "clean."

It's like you're watching Porn but it's okay b/c you don't actively participate in the "making" of it. With logic like that, do you work for the DMV and spend your entire day reading SE, but can't post b/c your supervisor is looking?

w67th, don't even bother with the educational credentials. too tired of culture (palace of the popes today), needed something a bit more earthy.

i AM underemployed, massively. such is our culture, and such are our choices (bad and good and indifferent), particularly if one doesn't have family as a back-up resource.

aboutready... one time in Japan, I was so tired of all the temples and hot springs... went into a pachinko parlor for 6 hours : )

Sometimes.... too much culture is well too much... Enjoy your European Tour... I'm so so jealous....

you should be jealous, and i did something similar in japan, but i went to an onsen and just walked in tall, strawberry blond and nude and the rest of the nude clients exited but quick. foreign women have more options, sometimes, in Japan.

but we're not really doing that much culture. we like to roam the streets, see the sane and crazy, eat fresh fruit, but the musee d'orsay is not to be missed and we have brought along a friend of our daughter who hasn't done the eiffel tower or notre dame so we will be repeating some culture along the way. but, we have four weeks, so we're not doing so much. sometimes the parking can set you back mentally for a couple of hours, and avignon's festival starts tomorrow so we thought we'd be OK today but it was a bit of a nightmare.

OT, sorry.

i personally have no problem with underemployment nor unemployment... it's time for the rat race to get unpopular and stress levels to go down. there's nothing like free time and avoiding wage slavery imho.
