Discussion about
I'm looking for someone to work with what we have - 2 year old gut renovation, lots of newish furniture (no antiques or $$$ pieces). I need someone who can suggest paint colors, trims (wainscotting, etc.), minimal furniture replacement or furniture placement, some window treatments. My taste runs to the modern, partner's taste runs to the traditional.

Go to B&B Italia (150 East 58th Street or 138 Greene St) and one of the specialists will help you out with design.

From what I know, they are in Manhattan and looks like they're exactly what you're looking for.
If you use them, please let me know (through SE).

info@carlconwaydesign.com

the best. most creative, inventive, stunning design for any personality. he seeks to have a home function at its maximum while attending to every detail. every design is completely different. he cares about the client, what their life is, how they need to feel comforted and complimented by their home. the most honest, spiritual, and thoughtful individual. he's by no means a sales person. does not pressure and does not push his taste at all. i've had two homes done by him and they are magnificent. many friends and family have asked for his services.
