Discussion about
Our closing is scheduled for next week and I just realized that my current driver's license has my married name but is from an older address in a completely DIFFERENT state, and my passport has my maiden name. We need to provide ID for closing...would one of these be acceptable? I'm worried that I can't close without

bring them both but your current driver's license will be fine, because it matches your signature with your current name to your photo.

You could bring a copy of your marriage license to prove the link between maiden & married name.

Bring a copy of your birth certificate as well. No one can argue with that.

If your closing is not before next Wednesday you could probably get a modified passport through an expediter like Passport Plus. They're not cheap, but they are fast.
