We are considering an apartment in this building. What's the "buzz" on it? The empty stores on the ground floor are a concern.

great building. if they allowed pets i'd be living there now.

There're old financials and other interesting stuff at www.plaza400.com.

In 2003 the commercial income was about 12% of the total.

I have friends in the building -- the no pets rule is an absolute deal breaker. Lots of work on the building bricks all the time. Check out the assessment history. Empty stores are the result of bank mergers in the area (chase bought them all and is half a block away). Framing shop moved around the corner. No new tenants reflective of the market.
