It was a great, under-market rental building. Then the owners converted to condo and now only a few apts are occupied by rent-regulated tenants. They have done a lot of renovation to it (elevators much quicker now) and are going to sell the condos for a lot of money, when complete.
Exterior work has made the building look fantastic. Like new. Grand and will only enhance classy streetscape of this area. Not that I'll be buying, but I'm looking forward to seeing the floorplans.
They put a lot of the 1 and 2 beds together to make larger apartments. Well out of my league, but it will be spectacular when it is done. They are also re-doing the lobby to make it less dark
