"Goldman Sachs raised the S&P 500 index's target for the end of the year to 1060 from 940 Monday, but said the risk of "double-dip" recession remains significant."

Translation: It might go up, but it could also go down.

putz can't even finish the first sentence...

"said the risk of "double-dip" recession remains significant."
And, the best case they're talking about is the S&P being at... wait for it..... 2003 levels!

Yes, Goldman is with you if you take back everything you've claimed over the past year and become a RE bull!

Nothing changes.

In the early part of the 20th century it was JP Morgan pulling all the strings. Today we have Goldman Sachs. The game stays the same, only thing that changed was the players.

Remember back in 1987 when the market crashed? It recovered all its loses by the end of the year and didn't look back until 2000. Manhattan real estate fell sharply for three consecutive years.

Stop using the market as a bull case for real estate. Real estate is sticky and lags.

Four, actually... but who is counting.
