Discussion about
We are new to NY and are remodeling our kitchen. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced architect/designer who is good with traditional, yet simple designs or specializes in kitchens? Thanks!

www.wooddesigne.com Ask for Diego. Showroom on 22nd Street. They do their own millwork and cut out mmiddlemen. It is very highend work for less than most other showrooms. Not a steal by anymeans if you are comparing to Ikea or Home Depot, but you'll save 30+% off a comparable Rudd kitchen from MCKB.

It depends on how much you want to spend. You really dont need a full blown architect since kitchen work really isn't structural. If you want to go higher end, there are a bunch of kitchen only stores such as NYKB, Poggen Pohl and others that would be great since thats all they do.

We are doing some structural changes as well to make the kitchen bigger, and we need architectural plans for the co-op board. Any recommendations?
