Discussion about
Best suggestions for inexpensive furnished office space in midtown? I looked at the city's coalition and they say the discounts are 40% off of plan but still expensive for a 100-120 ft. space where they attempt to fee you per service to death.

i don't have any hard details, but i knew a couple of sole practitioners who got good deals, relatively, on fifth avenue in the 30s, not quite but almost midtown east. do you need the space right away? because from what i've read and heard prices are going to be heading further south for that sort of space. your best bet is to try and find a sublet, but i don't know what would be the clearinghouse for those types of transactions.

I thought this company had some good deals.http://sunshineny.com/may09/coworking.html

when I needed a space a few years ago I used Craigslist and found a great "sublet" office within a very cool larger office of graphic designers. I paid no fee, simple lease with an out clause with one month notice. I also got use of their very nice Herman Miller conference table. This was located at 73 Spring street.

I have actually been calling a few offices to see if they have a little space they want to sublet.
