How is buying property two-and-a-half years after you meet someone "hasty"? I agree that it's better to buy property after the wedding, but these gentlemen don't have the choices that my husband and I did in this regard because some civil rights fights are not yet won.

The story of this couple is essentially a story of a divorce, and it's just sad. I wish the best to both of them.

I was thinking more of the third guy, the one who went in with the couple to buy the property upstate.
