Well, JP Morgan is forward looking like the stock market. Stock market is almost too good to be true lately and they say it looks 6 months ahead.
Or we could just have a greater difference between haves and have nots.

actually, the jpmorgan move is a change is salary structure, affecting those who receive 50% or more of their annual compensation in bonus. they claim that total compensation will not be changed, but are not giving any details of how much will be redistributed to salaries.
i don't know how much greater the difference between the haves and have nots can become before we approach third-world status.
