Red Cross uses it for emergencies.

I haven't heard anything about it. What makes you ask -- is it closed or something?

They took down a rim and it looks like they are doing work on the ground.

With 50 listing for sale and 43 listings for rent, this is one EXCLUSIVE building. Where do I sign?

@PMG: Yeah -- no offense to anyone who lives there, but we looked at it, and...well, the big red flags weren't just from the Chinese embassy next door. Weirdly-priced apartments (over $1mil for a small 1bdrm?), short sales, and inventory out the ears. Plus it's pretty far from almost everything.

The place seemed nice enough, but it definitely wasn't right for us.

Tennis court instead of a full size basketball court? They have basically eliminated the opportunity for 10 people to play at once and now allowing only 2-4 people to play together..

I'd rather have a full sized basketball court instead of a tennis court. It was as if they were trying to get it ready for the US Open. :-) Football season is upon us so I assume they will be excavating once again and install artificial grass!

The rims are still there if anyone wants a pickup game but its now a tennis court and they added a driving range to that level a few weeks ago. I don't know you 'charlar' but it was only used infrequently as a basketball court and maybe if you actually lived there it would have been yours to use- either way no one much cares what you'd rather have.
