Atlanta gets rid of public housing but this fucking city can't.

Discussion about
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/21/us/21atlanta.html Ugh. I am so sick of looking at public housing in this city. So ugly. Such a blight. When will this uncivilized city finally strap that filth with explosives and bring them down? Last week, I was driving my Porsche down I-495 towards JFK and I don't know if they were projects I saw, but it looked like I was in a third world country with all these scary commie blocks trapping me in on the highway. It was truly a horrendous sight that was thankfully muted by the very dark lenses of my Maison Margiela L'Incognito sunnies. Even that cesspool Chicago rid itself of most of that rubbish.

Are you for real? JFK? I hope you were going to Asia or Europe. The rest of us upper class fly from Tererboro on a private jet if it is anything in North America. Loser.

I don't fly private out of the United States - I use first class. I travelled to London for two days if you must know.

Now enough of my life and back to the story.

I fly coach regardless of where I fly. My dick is long enough and my wife hot enough that I don't feel the need to waste money and burn extra fossil fuels.

Um, thanks for sharing the link, wonderboy, and I happen to appreciate your sense of humor.

Concentrating low-income people into dense housing units has not been found to work out as well, in general, as offering those folks housing at the same price, but mixing them into middle-class areas. There are a lot of reasons for this, including the availability of role models of diverse socioeconomic status for children.

Some of these buildings were built during the War on Poverty and at the time, it seemed like a good idea--just give poor people decent housing and all will be well. Mostly it didn't work out that way.

wonderboy, you are obviously NOT from NY and I know you do not live here.

NO ONE in NY calls it "I-495". It probably says that on maps, as I'm sure you tried to create a story that sounds authentic and local, but EVERYONE in NY only knows it as the "Long Island Expressway", or even more commonly the "LIE".

If you say 495, that is the feeder expressway that leads to the Lincoln Tunnel in NJ.

Furthermore, most NYers and I'm sure all native NYers know the massive apartment complexes on the service roads of the LIE are LeFrak City apartments. Like him or not, LeFrak is a NY legend.

I'm sure this is a new form of the troll rufus who is the only person to ever bring up housing projects and Chicago in a post. Enjoy your financially broke, violent crime plaggued, record setting high unemployment city (Chicago), rufus.

I would be really disappointed to figure out that wonderbra is really rufus, as seems to be the case here.

rufus was elaborately annoying, whereas wonderbra is dreary, unimaginative, and unlikeable at any level. Inadequate character development. Cancel series.

Actually the most amazing thing is wonderboy managed to take "I-495" all the way to JFK Airport, because it doesn't go there. It doesn't even head in that direction.

He's probably still circling, looking to dump fuel.
