Impractical in many NY apartments, except ones that Friends live in.

But I see an heirloom mushroom revolution sweeping Manhattan!

surprised people are doing it in brooklyn already. townhouse poetry will go from "granite countertops" to "chicken raising is possible".

Well, I umm..."raised" a few things in my apartment to make rent back in the day. But chickens? That's weird.

I just visited a nice apartment in a nice building in Hudson Heights (Washington Heights). I asked the owner about pets, and he said none are allowed but he has neighbors who are raising chickens in the building. I guess if you're going to eat them, they're not pets?
