Moving Within Building Cost

I am thinking of moving apartments in my building, to one floor lower than me. Has anyone done this and used movers? Any ideas on cost? Obviously there are a lot of variables here, e.g., will the movers pack/move everything, will they only move heavy stuff . . . any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

A total scam. I moved across the street and was billed the minimum transportation time. I checked with several and they all charged similarly.

I'm looking for the same thing at the moment, sent emails to a few services advertised on craigslist, still waiting to hear back.

don't you guys have some friends to help out? you could do it yourself and "share" the savings with those that help you doing the move.
