A.R.
Gov't came out with a new category jumbo-conforming. so that the GSE's can buy. sounds like an oxymoron , I know.... Extends range to around 750ish.....

Hi everyone. I am Philip Wong who got this deal. Thanks for everyone questions. I am just like you guys who spend a lot of time on streeteasy in the past year when market started to drop. I also subscribe a few different foreclosure sites and spend sometime calling banks, asset manager and foreclosure agents. I am more than happy to share more if anyone like to know more. Just send me email at pwa@philipaw.com

Phil

gotta say it again! You THE MAN. Now, I'd like you to take precautions. Make sure you open your door with a hanky, I'm sure ALOT of your neighbors are NONE too pleased by your good timing (YES TIMING all you perma-bullz). Enjoy the pool, the view, the gym... you'll be the only guy in there, all the other owners have to work 100hrs/wk to make their monthly nutz.... hahahhahahahahahahhaha.... You are the poster child for waiting this bubble out!

I just went thro' all postings here and some of that made me upset. I am a real person.I did not pay anything to anyone except the REO bank, the laywer and all the foreclosure sites. But in fact, i got in touch with the selling agent by not even any paid website but just the Wamu REO site that open to everyone! I check all foreclosure sites almost religiously, even now ... ...

Phillip, I am actually really happy that this wasn't just an insider deal. Believe me, back in the days there were a ton of scratch backs kind of shenanigans. Congrats and thanks for clearing this up. You got a deal that'll save sleepless nites.... and even if the markt gets below you, that just means your 3bdrm in CPW will be down a lot more in absolute terms/% terms.... enjoy your apartment.

pawong, Some people do their home work and some sit back and then throw accusations of insider trading to make themselves feel better for not trying. Ignore it.
