Discussion about
Well not really a unicorn, but the gnome that swears he heard it from a unicorn.. .that Shawn and a bunch of his "elite" brokers are doing so well (ala Goldman Sachs) and the bid/ask spread is SO HUGE.. .they are taking advantage of the situation and charging 7%.
Makes perfect sense economically, why should all brokers only get 6%, they should charge what the mkt will bear.. I'm surprised with their inflated egos (a direct result of their buzy schedule) their aren't uber-brokers charging 20% and getting it.
Oh, myz wifez iz a doctor...

i thought the unicorn got left in LIC? where it shrivelled up and died. or lost its uni. can't recall which.
actually cc, i'd say continue. but for the lack of reading enjoyment of others. shrimpie seems to have "found" a friend today, but sadly isn't really getting far with it.
that's actually the only reason i suggested cc ignore. shrimpie does nothing for shrimpie's interest, certainly is only laughable to his/her "victims", and just makes life miserable for the other people on this board.
the rest of us so reviled by shrimpie, well we actually discuss real estate.

please buzz me when you start discussing real estate without telling someone or another to piss off or fuck off or call that person a little shit.

cc, i heard from a unicorn that there were some really disgruntled people involed in real estate. people who had previously been excited by it: owners, buyers, investors, speculators, lien holders, cmbs, rmbs, cdos, and sivs (some exotics were probably missed and the totals may have exceeded due to rounding or simply pure and horrifyingly simplistic fucking guesstimates)."
many, but sadly too few, of those responsible individuals realized the extent of their problem.

but perhaps i am mistaken.
Someone new to streeteasy within the past day might think that w67thstreet is posting particularly egregious posts to get a response out of me (or out of Shawn Felker for those specifically directed with his name in it). I would encourage you to look at his past posts and threads to get a better flavor for w67thstreeet's personality and penchant for being an ass and hostile towards others (this is aside from all of his lawsuits), for instance:
