BPC North really needs more retail and food if it's ever going to feel more like NYC. Not the god-awful corporation-owned shops and restaurants of the World Financial Center and adjacent buildings, but some real NYC-style small businesses. Two delis, a dry cleaner and Pan Latin are the only examples today. The parks are great, the river is great, the people are very nice. It's just too bad it feels so planned, foreign and (at least in the winter) dead. [less]

riverhouse is going to have that organic bakery, right?
