Hi, I am looking for a 1 br, jr 4 for under $4,000 per month. I am open to upper west, chelsea, w. village, gramcery/flatiron. West side is easier for some reverse commuting. I would prefer not to pay a fee but would do so if the numbers work out. Any suggestions as to managment companies other resources? Glenwood does not have anything and they seem very expensive.
404 no fee listings for 1 bedrooms in your target areas - HAVE FUN ;-) & good luck-

A bunch of doorman buildings in Chelsea especially around the 20's and 9th avenue offer XL 1 bedroom units for less than $3500.
Why waste time trying to go with out a broker? Call me, and I can find you the perfect apartment. I have an expert knowledge of Manhattan Real Estate, and many of the Buildings and Landlords I represent offer no fee apartments. Call, email or contact me.

For the Upper West Side, Rita Citrin represents some good buildings. Metropolitan Equities is worth a try too for pre-war, though they don't seem to have much inventory right now.
