Discussion about
have an estimated closing date of nov 16, havent locked in the rate yet, just wondering what the rates are going to do,any ideas
Lock now, they are pretty low and I dont seem them getting too much lower.
lock in now on a day when the market has a repricing in your favor and then re-negotiate later if rates go down. the you will at least have your worst case scenario if the market runs away. it's very hard to tell what they're gonna do b/c they are very, very volatile right now. anything below 5.75 is a good rate, it just gets better from there. save the 30 yr fixed rate graph from the bloomberg page and check it regulary to see how it trends. i would guess that in general they are more likely to go up than down, probably will yoyo for a while longer though.
