Discussion about 16 Warren Street #5
has anyone seen these apartments in person? Is it worth the trip to see? Price is down over a million from the original list price. From the photo/floorplan it looks like (almost) the craziest layout I've ever seen. For the large total sqft I can't believe the kitchen island & dining table are practically in the living room. The big hole in the middle is I huge waste of space.

We saw it about 6 months ago and I loved it but my wife hated it so we passed. If you like modern design you will love it. The interior is beautiful with large dramatic areas. It is a “green” building and has radiators a plus vs. forced hot air. Negatives are not a great view and bedroom balconies overlook a very dull courtyard. It is duplex so bedrooms are not on same floor as living space. These have been on the market a long time and I think maybe the penthouses may be sold but everything else is for sale or rented.

thanks ieb. Is the "great room" as small as it appears in the pictures? It seems like a little box that with two kids we'd be on top of each other.

Great room is it's best selling point. Very nice large space with double height ceiling does not feel "small" at all. The kitchen and island are open to it so you may not like that.
