the reason I can not give you a definitive answer on this is that there not only are lots of nuances as far as what they are made of, where they start *for example: while I don't know it this has been changed, in the 80's and 90's you saw a lot of "greenhouses" starting as mezzanines below the roof line because there was some sort of carve out calling anything that started below the interior roof line as a "skylight". But I think in general that under the strict interpretations, solariums, sunrooms, etc. are considered permanent structures. And to tell you the truth, I'm not so sure there's a definitive difference in the definitions of a solarium and a sunroom (or conservatories......).
