Discussion about
Hey, i'm moving from my 2 br in Union Sq because my roommate is getting married and need to find a studio. Does anyone know of nice or new studios (doorman, decent size and furnishings) under $2k. Location is not too important, would even do FIDI or BPC if it were a new building. If anyone has experience with a particular bldg or management company that would be helpful.

Try running a search for what you want under the "rentals" tab. I'm sure you'll find something. For $2,000/month you may even be able to get a nice 1BR in this market if you aren't too picky about location.

We have some studios within that price range at LeRivage, a gorgeous pre-war building at 21 West Street

Hey Mike, there are a lot of great options under 2000 now. For a full service luxury building, the best deals are in the Financial District, where you could get a good sized studio in a building with the works (doorman, gym, roof deck, lounge etc) for about 1900-2000. If you would prefer a large one bedroom in a townhouse, I recommend Upper East, where you could probably come in 300 or more under budget. A lot of owners are paying the brokers fees now and a good broker can provide valuable advice and access and then negotiate a great deal for you, so it may be worthwhile to use one. If you'd like to go that road you can reach me at 917 576 0776 or at Jeff@MironProperties.com Thanks
