Discussion about 155 East 76th Street #11K
Gorgeous finishes. No conversion possibilities to turn this into a 2-bedroom of any sort, but if you can live with that and like modern finishes like the chef's kitchen (drool!), take a look. If we didn't need the second room, I'd seriously consider this even with the 40% down requirement.

Aside from the building being fugly, I don't understand how a one bedroom in a fine but not exciting location with no spectacular features (terrace, killer view, exceptional amenties) could be worth $800K in today's market. I don't know the UES that well so maybe I am underestimate but based on other areas it seems agressive even if its been reduced from delusional.

Is it just me, or does the OP's comment seem little suspicious (i.e., shill-y) given how long the apt has been on the market and how unestablished OP is?

JD: I thought he sounded like the broker. That, or he's mocking the listing.

nyc10023 -- yeah, I had the same thought. Who other than a broker wanders around pretending to drool over a run-of-the-mill kitchen?

Extra-drooly fail.

This is funnier than Zach Galifianakis in The Hangover:

"06/10/2008 Listed in StreetEasy by HF International Realty Ltd at $1,200,000"
