Here' a little someth'in someth'in........ 257 Central Park West #11D http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/464271-coop-257-central-park-west-upper-west-side-new-york location location location Even myself, an UESer will always consider defection from my side of town for a chance to live on the park (EWN or S). What can I say,"through the Park, Bitterman, you know how I love the park" So. here we have a small 2 BR that is not exactly priced so bad that if you didn't need much storage space this could be yours. The master br was the prize. All windows face N but the window is situated to allow a killer view of the reservoir while on the bed. All other windows required a little head turning. Let's face it, walking out onto CPW has it's own pleasure not to mention the subway at your feet. Both brs are small and the slightly oversized foyer disrupts the LR as to make it feel small. This place could be renovated to make better use of the space but all and all not bad. Personally I just need more space. I have no comment on price b/c I rarely look on the westside and I am unfamiliar with the value premium of CPW. Kitchen was functional but, unmemorable. Ammenities included a laundry room so the CC seemed a little high but, no real point of refrence. Scott Stewart was the broker, charming and informative. [less]
Falco - any vibrations from the subway? That can actually happen when buildings are basically right on top of subway lines.
No idea about vibrations that don't have batteries attached to them. Seemed like an old solid pre-war but, to be fair I don't no squat about building engineering. That is a good question but, we can say this about that entire section of CPW.
I always forget...is it tuck and roll or shake rattle and roll.
I went to 500 4th and bisney view (599 4th) in brooklyn..also 77 hudson in jersey..I definitely wasnt the only person looking..not sure if it was alot or a little since I dont have naything to judge it by.
gee, ya think that's a combined unit? lol
