Discussion about
Does anyone have any opinion about this property in terms of price and location? Is it too far from the central locations? http://www.211east51.com/#/Manhattan%20Modern/The%20Building/

I am not from NY, trying to buy a condo for my daughter. Even though I've been to NY several times, I am still not much familiar with Manhattan.

coolrelax, sorry. midtown east is a nice combination of fun, safe, and relatively peaceful. but i feel that almost all new construction is overpriced. i understand that you need a condo. i'll run a quick search and see what i come up with.

Look at 251 East 51 street co-oop building. it is on the corner of 51 st and 2 av. better $$$ and very reasonable board

there are very few one bedroom condos in this neighborhood. especially with decent common charges and taxes. ny3654 may have the right idea. find a coop that allows purchasing for a child. not many of them, but they are out there.

anyone know of any other midtown coops that allow this?
