I haven't been down there in a few months -- just closed in the East Village, and am now getting two fairly "uptown" board packages together ... looks from the computer like some smaller units closed in the $1,000/sq. foot range -- are you looking at big or little?

Just what the current thinking is on this building and if good purchase since still around 60% sold or better to wait a bit more because inventory not moving....or any other thoughts.

I think the X factor is "are you financing, or are you paying cash?"

I predict prices flattish (though my disclaimer is that if I could *really* predict asset prices I'd be on a yacht) but rates will probably jump next year, and the conforming loan limit will probably change.

So if you're financing under $729,750 I'd do it now ... If you need a jumbo, I don't know that there's any diff.
