Discussion about
How would the Atlantic Yard project affect the price of property in its neighbourhood. In fact what would the be extent of its impact on Brooklyn? Im moving to Park Slope, how would that change my life?

Very good question. I've heard both sides of it, but the immediate impact is the impact that 5-7 years of construction will have on your quality of life. There was an interesting article on it in the Obserer in January: http://www.nyobserver.com/node/36559

As for Park Slope, depends on where you are going. There is a great map here that shows the possible changes in landscape and view based on the designs: http://www.onnyturf.com/gmap/?gmap_id=2

But I think most of Park Slope proper is not that affected, it's the Northeastern segment closer to Boerum Hill and Atlantic Avenue.
