Hi! Thinking about buying (1st time buyer) and wondering if anyone can recommend a respected broker that specializes in the midtown east area? Thx

BobBorger - thx you - very helpful!!
If anyone has any brokers they would recommend for midtown east area pl let me know. Thx!
Happy to work with you MoBetter. In this day of information, it is less the area specialist and more the broker with patience that would be most valuable to you. Happy to discuss with you. Email me: vivian@arielaheilman.com
Try Lori Huler-Glick at Stribling. Patient, honest and a hard worker.
I think the broker who posts on SE as West 81 is quite amazing in terms of his knowledge and research. I don't know if he "specializes" in midtown east but look at the thread that he post on, "If you can determine market movement...... Upper East Side," etc. His brokerage, Burkhardt Group also is negotiable on terms. Since you don't really need a buyers broker, you need someone incredibly well informed on the neighborhood, the comps, etc., it might be worthwhile to save some money and at the same time have someone so knowledgeable that even the brokers on this site comment favorably on his research. Must say, also, since I have used him as a buyers broker and have used him as and endless source of arcane RE info, he is also a helluva guy.
Apt23 - thx very much!!
MoBetter: Midtown East is off my turf, and I disagree with vducat about the importance of knowing the territory. I'll try to get a recommendation for your target neighborhood.
apt23: Great clients make it easy.
