Discussion about 250 East 65th Street #7A
I strongly suggest you request the Condo Board memo sent out in the spring regarding the mouse infestation problem at 250 E65th. Caveat emptor.

Speaking of mice, how high up can mice climb? Can they make it 20, 30 40 stories? I always assumed the higher up you are, the lower the chance of rats and/or mice.

Modern--imaginary mice alluded to by disgruntled former tenants can do lots of things. Read between the lines

Can modern explain the difference in difficulty in climbing between the first and second floor...and say 39 and 40, so we further understand his question?

Well, jimbo, I am assuming the mice start from outside the building, eg floor zero. Since, AFAIK, they can't use elevators, and stairs have closed fire doors, it is sort of a cross-country effort to climb upwards. How far have they made it?

I would also assume, on the way from 1 to 40, there will be a few cats living in apartments, and homeowners who prefer to squash mice. So it is sort of the marathon of micehood, to get from 1 to 40.

There may also be a ny zoning ordinance regarding what floors they can go up to.

some can jump and skip floors. heard that they go from 12 to 14 and from 6 to 8. Can the Board confirm their special skills?

Mice never live on the 7th floor. It could be to do with the number 7 or is this just a co-incidence that cats have 7 lives? Maybe we should throw a few hundred mil at the scientists to figure this one out!
