Seeking apartment to move in asap!!!

My husband and I are looking for a 1 bedroom that would fit a king size bed!!! For about 2 months now we have been looking and every time we wanna make an offer someone takes it!!! Is this normal?? We want something really really nice for about $2700 on upper east side. Anyone have suggestions for me?

Well I found 34 no fee rentals on the UES, and about 120 total, in my database.

They're no fee because the landlord is willing to pay the broker so you don't have to (the right way to do things in my book). But when it comes to "really nice," the fee apartments are going to be better. So if you're only looking "no fee," that is something to try.

Good rentals are indeed moving pretty fast, everyone tells me this. If you're not using a broker if you try it that will probably solve your problem.
